How the Trust Score works
Most coupon sites don't tell you which codes actually work. ClipBee scores every offer from 1 to 99, and here is the whole formula.
The formula
- Start
- Every offer starts at 50.
- Source
- +10 if it comes from the retailer or an affiliate network; +20 if ClipBee has checked it.
- Shopper votes
- Up to ±30 from “Did this code work?” votes. A few votes barely move the score; it gains full weight at 10 votes.
- Recently worked
- +10 if a shopper confirmed it worked this week, +5 this month.
- Freshness
- +5 if the listing was refreshed this week; −10 if not refreshed for over two months.
- Clear terms
- +3 if the offer has a published end date.
What the colours mean
- 85Trust 80+ Excellent: very likely to work.
- 70Trust 65–79 Good.
- 55Trust 45–64 Fair: check the terms closely.
- 30Trust Under 45 Low. Codes with 10+ votes and under 30% success are removed automatically.
Help keep scores honest: after you try a code, answer “Did this code work?”. Votes are anonymous and limited to one per offer per day. Retailers always decide whether a code is accepted at checkout.
