Questions
Is the coupon applied before or after tax?
In most places discounts reduce the taxable price, so tax is calculated after the coupon. Some manufacturer coupons are taxed on the full price.
How do I find the price without VAT?
Use reverse mode: divide the total by 1 plus the VAT rate. For 20% VAT, divide by 1.20.
