Coupon stacking calculator
Enter a price, a percentage discount and a fixed-amount discount. The calculator shows the final price when the percentage is applied first and when the fixed amount is applied first, so you know which order is better if a store lets you choose.
Applying the percentage first saves $3.00 more, if the store lets you combine them.
How it works
- Percentage first: price × (1 − percent ÷ 100) − fixed amount.
- Fixed amount first: (price − fixed amount) × (1 − percent ÷ 100).
- Applying the percentage first always saves more when both discounts apply to the same subtotal, but many stores apply them in a fixed order or allow only one code.
Calculations run in your browser using the numbers you enter. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.
Questions
Can I use two coupon codes at once?
Only if the store allows it. Many retailers accept one promo code per order but let you combine it with an automatic sale, a member discount or a gift card. Check the code's terms.
Which order saves more?
When both discounts apply to the same amount, taking the percentage off first saves more, because the percentage is calculated on a larger number.
